Account Executive
Remote
position with a growing technology company specializing in communication software that helps businesses streamline outbound and inbound calling operations.
Responsibilities:
Self-source leads as needed.
Conduct discovery calls to determine prospects’ problems, present solutions, and establish SQLs.
Guide prospects through the sales process.
Conduct software demos for prospects.
Work with the prospect and your team to ensure a smooth trial and onboarding process.
Negotiate contract terms with prospects.
Drive consistent revenue growth by meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals.
Gain a deep understanding of the industries the company supports.
Attend multiple trade shows per year, and meet with clients and prospects.
Occasionally travel overnight to attend trade shows.
Be comfortable selling technology of all sorts.
Ensure we sign up the right clients, with low churn.
Qualifications:
Must have 2–3 years successful account executive experience.
Excellent phone, documenting, and listening skills.
Self‑starter who is eager to learn, grow, and excel in their role.
Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures.
Excellent follow‑through skills.
Ability to learn from mistakes and overcome rejection.
Naturally curious and passionate.
Commitment to achieving success in sales.
High achiever in current role.
Track record of reaching or exceeding monthly activity goals/quotas.
Familiarity with Zoho, Google Suite, Slack is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, internally and externally.
Receptive to coaching and direction, and able to give actionable feedback.
Great technological competency.
