Pay Range
Base salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year.
Compensation range: $179,500–$210,000 per year.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. You will report directly to the VP of Sales, source new sales opportunities, and close sales to achieve the desired quotas. The successful candidate will expand the customer base in an assigned territory and increase revenue through leads, qualifying prospects, and negotiating new service contracts.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement strategies to market Total Fire Protection’s services.
Uncover client needs to tailor and effectively convey solutions.
Maintain a qualified prospects database through cold calling, personal visits, and networking within the CRM platform.
Leverage the TFP brand to identify prospective clients and develop relationships and establish a strong network with new and existing customers for continued sales growth.
Attend work functions, charity and industry events.
Deliver an established number of proposals to clients monthly.
Close business and provide after‑sales reports to VP of Sales.
Demonstrate excellent editing, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
Ability to create a positive buying experience and strong closing skills.
Ability to detect specific client needs and clearly present key benefits of doing business with Total Fire Protection.
Self‑motivation, strong work ethic and career‑oriented.
Drive, persistence, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets/goals.
Ability to function independently in a team environment with little supervision.
Professional presentation required.
3 years prior sales experience is a plus.
An existing network of strong connections in key sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, education, and commercial residential is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Maintain confidential client information.
Minimum 3 days of field sales activity required.
In‑depth knowledge of all company services.
