Stylist

is responsible for providing and maintaining a positive, friendly, empathetic and professional selling experience with all customers. Stylists deliver 5-Star Customer Service, achieve sales goals and productivity by following our 5-Step Selling Process, and perform duties related to the presentation and operations of the store. Reports to the Store Manager in partnership with the Sales Manager. Bridal Stylists are brand ambassadors and demonstrate the values and critical success factors of the David’s Bridal brand. Essential Job Functions

Customer Focus: Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm, communicate clearly, and adapt style to suit customers. Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver a 5-star experience (Appointments/Customers/Point of Sale). Use iPad tools to research and communicate information to customers. Provide exceptional service to multiple customers, address concerns with confidence, escalate when needed, and partner with leadership. Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing profiles, favorites and preparing fitting rooms. Build relationships by asking questions and listening to understand expectations and needs. Identify the perfect gown/dress within the customer’s first three try-ons. Review timelines and set future appointments; follow up with customers to remind or schedule future sales. Explain alterations’ role in perfecting the dress, promote alterations services and personalization options, and partner with Alterations Specialists to set appointments. Ensure proper measurements are taken and entered for ordering dresses and minimizing returns/exchanges. Maintain store standards (clean, organized, promotional readiness) and report damaged equipment. Maintain dress code standards; offer the David’s Bridal loyalty and partners program. Analyzing & Decision Making: Respond promptly to customer questions, build relationships to meet customer satisfaction and loyalty. Managing Performance: Maintain hourly sales productivity with the 5-Step Selling Process; process transactions accurately; promote services and add-ons; maintain knowledge of procedures for special orders; achieve platform conversion and add-on goals; arrange return appointments for bridal parties; complete training and build product knowledge; strive for Circle of Excellence by exceeding sales targets. Managing Change: Execute new processes, contests and programs; perform duties such as promotion/sign setup, merchandising/visual changes, and markdowns/inventory counts. Gaining Commitment: Support store team to achieve sales, service and operational goals; clock in/out accurately; follow loss prevention policies. Developing Self & Others: Focus on development, complete training, share expertise, welcome coaching, and complete required trainings within 90 days. Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1–2 years in retail apparel/service or specialty store environment preferred; prior experience with computerized POS system is preferred. Part-Time Benefits
