Overview
Bridal Stylist position at David's Bridal. The role centers on delivering a positive, empathetic and professional selling experience, achieving sales goals through the 5-Step Selling Process, and supporting store operations and presentation. Reports to the Store Manager in partnership with the Sales Manager. This is a part-time role with potential benefits outlined below. Locations include Raleigh, NC and Cary, NC in related postings. Responsibilities
Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person and over the phone; communicate clearly and concisely and adapt style to suit customers. Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a 5-Star customer experience (Appointments/Customers/Point of sale). Utilize iPad tools to research and communicate information to customers. Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at a time; address concerns proactively and escalate to leadership as needed. Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing profiles and favorites and preparing fitting rooms. Build relationships, understand customer expectations and needs, and strive to identify the perfect gown within the first three try-ons. Review Timeline Calendar, set future appointments, and follow up with customers regarding future sales. Explain alterations and promotion of alterations services; partner with Alterations Specialists to set up appointments; support goals for conversions to Alterations appointments. Ensure proper measurements are taken and entered into systems for ordering dresses and minimizing returns/exchanges. Maintain store standards (clean, organized, promotional readiness) and report damaged equipment. Adhere to dress code standards and promote David’s Bridal loyalty & partners program. Support the store team to achieve sales, service and operational goals; clock in/out accurately; follow loss prevention policies. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel, service or specialty store environment preferred. Experience with computerized POS systems preferred. Benefits & Schedule
