About the Role This position sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services, guiding them through the process with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Sell funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise.

Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.

Generate leads through walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead generation and prospecting.

Participate in training paid at $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred.

Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.

Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Outlook).

Experience in a CRM (lead management system) preferred.

Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.

Willingness to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as required.

Employment Type Full‑time

Targeted First‑Year Earnings Estimated $45,000 – $60,000 (including hourly wage and commission; uncapped). Training pay: $18 per hour for 6 weeks.
