Job Description Successful service industry plumbing companies need a great plumber with professional customer service and trade skills to handle the service needs of customers.

Responsibilities

Receive and answer all incoming telephone calls and messages from Dispatch/management daily to coordinate schedule and support the needs of the business.

Utilize dispatch software as needed to create invoices, document job history through notes and photographic documentation, travel ETA, and job progress before dispatching to the next one.

Handle calls for a variety of customer needs.

Diagnose a variety of issues successfully.

Communicate value levels of different options.

Educate and support customers in decision‑making.

Appropriately use supplies for each job and communicate on supply usage.

Install jobs to meet code quality expectations and professionalism.

Show installation throughout before and after method.

Communicate with dispatch software on successful completion.

Maintain company vehicle responsibilities: keep a valid driving license, maintain personal driving records, ensure vehicle safety, and secure staging. Take‑home privilege is based on sales goals and safe behavior.

Handle all interactions with customers professionally in keeping with company standards.

Attend and participate in mandatory training.

Maintain safety expectations of Oak Plumbing at all times.

Complete other duties assigned by management.

Sales Expectations

Maintain job average closing ratio above 75% minimum.

Maintain minimum monthly sales above $75,000.

Maintain a minimum margin of 60%.

Review sales performance with management monthly and quarterly for opportunities and performance.

Direction

Train other Oak Plumbing staff on procedures, tactics, and KPIs for successful sales.

Direct and follow up with installation personnel to manage completion of sold work, noting and recording issues that require intervention and resolution.

Experience and Skills Required

Mechanical plumbing knowledge.

Positive communication skills.

Organization and follow‑up.

Knowledge of Service Titan.

Ownership of own tools and equipment.

Exemplary record of sales and customer service.

Empathic communication techniques.

Sales techniques and person‑to‑person communication.

Lifting 80+ lbs regularly, crawling, twisting, and working in tight confined spaces.

Job Expectations

As Sales Advisor: amount above base commission conditional on completion of expectations.

Job detail level, pictures, billing meeting margins, cost of materials

Parts list recorded into Service Titan on the day of sale.

Multi‑day jobs require layout time on the first day and closing time on the last day to collect and quality check.

Support all customer concerns.

Completion of closed job review with manager.

Schedule and Hours

Full‑time: Monday‑Friday with intermittent weekend and after‑hours support.

Time off scheduled >48 hours notice.

Compensation

Salary: $1280 weekly.

Commission: plus 4%.
