Client: Real Estate
Role: Transfer Leasing Coordinator
Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000
Location: Manhattan, NYC
Fully Onsite Preferred Contract to Hire but open to Permanant position
Must understand the application package for Condo/Co-op specifically
Responsibilities
Manage resale and estate transfers of ownership for cooperative apartments.
Oversee sublet and lease processes, including renewals, in coordination with the Sublet Coordinator.
Handle financing and refinancing documentation and procedures for co-op apartments.
Process the replacement of stock certificates and proprietary leases.
Obtain Certificates of Termination of the First Right of Refusal for condominium sales and leases.
Review and process board application packages from initial submission through final approval.
Maintain ongoing communication with board members, applicants, attorneys, managing agents, and brokers.
Provide monthly reports to boards detailing sales and lease activity within the buildings.
Collect and submit all required processing and closing fees (e.g., maintenance, flip tax).
Schedule board interviews with prospective buyers or tenants.
Prepare a range of closing documents, including but not limited to: stock certificates, leases, affidavits, guarantees, escrow agreements, and assignment documents.
Conduct real estate closings as required.
Qualifications
Prior experience in co-op/condo transfer or real estate administration preferred.
Strong knowledge of residential real estate transactions, especially in cooperative housing.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management/real estate software systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
