Overview
The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of sales, leases, and ownership transfers for cooperative and condominium buildings. This includes processing applications from start to finish and preparing all necessary closing documents. Key Responsibilities
Process and manage transactions
for the resale and transfer of cooperative apartments, including estate transfers and financing/refinancing. Coordinate with all parties , including board members, applicants, attorneys, and brokers, to ensure a smooth process from initial submission to final approval. Prepare and review application packages
for the Board of Directors, ensuring all required documents are complete and accurate. Obtain necessary documentation , such as a Certificate of Termination of the First Right of Refusal for condo sales and leases. Conduct closings
as needed and prepare all associated documents, including stock certificates, proprietary leases, affidavits, guarantees, and escrow agreements. Handle financial duties
such as collecting and submitting fees (maintenance, flip tax, etc.) during processing and closing. Schedule and coordinate
Board interviews with applicants. Draft and submit monthly reports
to the Boards, providing updates on all sales and lease activity within the buildings. Qualifications
Required experience with co-op and condo sales/transfers. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the real estate industry. Location:
This is an onsite, 5-day-a-week position in Manhattan, NY. Employment Type:
This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity. Compensation:
The temporary pay rate is $30-$35/hr, with a permanent salary of $75,000.
