About the role
Our client, a respected and growing
healthcare organization , is seeking a dynamic
Director of Finance/Controller
to lead their financial operations and strategy. This key leadership role will oversee all aspects of accounting, reporting, compliance, and fiscal management within a mission‑driven healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and audits.
Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare‑specific financial regulations.
Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership to drive operational success.
Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Support long‑term financial planning and risk management initiatives.
Qualifications
Active CPA license (required)
Healthcare industry experience (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum
5+ years
of progressive accounting leadership experience
Strong understanding of
Medicare, Medicaid, and grant compliance
Experience with
Sage Intacct
and/or
Epic EHR
highly preferred
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Compensation Base salary $150,000–$200,000 per year + bonus.
