Annual Bonus Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Director of Operations

to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our food production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality production while maintaining strict compliance with food safety standards, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess

strong leadership skills, operational expertise in food manufacturing, and a commitment to safety and efficiency

in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Production Management & Process Optimization: Oversee

all aspects of food production , ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet demand. Develop and implement

process improvements

to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Monitor and analyze

key production metrics

to drive performance improvements and meet operational goals. Collaborate with

cross-functional teams

to align production with business objectives, including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics. Quality Assurance & Food Safety Compliance: Ensure

strict adherence to food safety regulations

(FDA, USDA, BRCGS, SQF) and maintain compliance with all industry standards. Implement and enforce

quality control measures

to ensure product consistency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Lead audits and inspections, addressing any compliance gaps with proactive solutions. Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop

a high-performing operations team , fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and efficiency. Promote a

safety-first culture , ensuring adherence to workplace safety and environmental regulations. Oversee

budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation

to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. Manage

inventory and supply chain processes , ensuring adequate raw material availability while minimizing excess waste. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety. Work closely with

sales, supply chain, finance, and distribution teams

to align production schedules with business objectives. Develop clear and effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed on production timelines, challenges, and improvements. Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree

in Food Science, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience

in operations management within food manufacturing. In-depth knowledge of

food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control processes . Proven

leadership experience , with a track record of managing diverse teams in a fast-paced production environment. Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to drive operational efficiencies. Excellent

communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to collaborate across departments. Seniority level
