Commercial Lines Account Manager
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team at The Jonus Group. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a book of business, handle renewals, and provide exceptional service to valued clients in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
Compensation Package
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience
Bonus Program: Performance‑based bonuses available
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) and paid time off (PTO)
Responsibilities
Manage a book of business, primarily consisting of small business accounts with premiums ranging from $0 to $100,000 (mostly under $50,000)
Handle all aspects of account management, including renewals, endorsements, and rounding out accounts
Quote and shop renewal business to ensure competitive pricing and coverage for clients
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
Utilize agency management software (HawkSoft) and Microsoft Office tools to manage daily tasks efficiently
Collaborate with the Commercial Lines team to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
Qualifications / Requirements
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an independent insurance agency preferred; open to candidates with assistant‑level experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and HawkSoft (or similar agency management software)
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and client satisfaction
