Analyze complex tax operations and provide meaningful business insights. Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients. Research current market trends and maintain credibility as a trusted advisor. Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities. Build long‑lasting relationships with clients’ business operations to tailor advice. Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they reach their full potential. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline. CPA, licensed Attorney, or EA preferred. Minimum of 8 years professional experience in state and local income/franchise tax. Experience managing budgets, people, and projects. Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization. Technical writing and research experience in a tax context. Strong influencing skills and ability to influence existing processes. Desired Additional Experience
Experience in a wealth and asset management firm or similar professional services environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, One Source Tax Compliance Software, Corptax, and/or Premium Pro. Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues. Adaptability working with internal and client team members. What We Offer
