Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for first‑ and third‑party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor, providing guidance to others.
We’re hiring an experienced Auto Field Adjuster in the Greater Salt Lake City, UT area (including Ogden). The ideal candidate lives within 40 miles, has hands‑on experience writing auto damage estimates and supplements, and strong insurance claims knowledge. We’re looking for someone self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and skilled in time management, accountability, and achieving goals.
Writing auto damage estimates using CCC ONE or Mitchell is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Builds master relationships with both internal and external customers
Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on first‑ and third‑party material damage losses of all severities
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job does not have supervisory duties.
Compensation Base compensation for this role is:
Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 – $37.50 per hour
Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 – $39.42 per hour
Field Adjuster Sr. Cons I: $35.82 – $45.58 per hour
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may include additional components such as incentive pay (e.g., commission or bonus) if applicable.
