License: Registered in radiography. Certifications: BLS; Additional certification in computed tomography preferred. Must-Have: - Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology. - Proven ability to interact effectively with patients, co-workers, practitioners, and visitors. - Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and ability to work independently. - Effective communication skills. - Familiarity with computer applications. - Technical aptitude and willingness to learn software applications. Description: The Radiologic Technologist operates under the direction of the radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology. The technologist operates a Computerized Tomographic scanner to image the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities. This role emphasizes collaboration, quality patient-centered care, and integrity. The technologist is expected to take ownership of their work and maintain accountability in a safe and supportive workplace.
