X-Ray Tech Location: Coos Bay, OR Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Radiology Medical Imaging Tech I Profession: Technologist Specialty: X-Ray Duration: Full-Time Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Three years preferred, will consider new graduates or those with less experience License: Current state license or valid temporary permit before taking ARRT registry Certifications: Current certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in relevant modality Must-Have: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Description: Performs a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages. Applies principles, theories, and techniques of pertinent modality to provide reliable test results. Provides daily leadership of patient and department workflow. Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position. Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment. Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally with the public. Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think, and act independently with minimal supervision. Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in relevant modality. Current state license or recent graduate of approved program holding a valid temporary state permit before taking ARRT registry. Registry must be obtained within a reasonable time period, not to exceed one year in relevant modality. Image Wisely pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter. Image Gently pledge certificate or must obtain within 30 days of hire date and annually by January 30 thereafter. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
