Mortgage Field Services Inspector
Join to apply for the Mortgage Field Services Inspector role at FAR INSPECTIONS. We are searching for highly motivated Individuals to perform Residential Occupancy Verifications on behalf of Mortgage Lenders.
Overview FAR Inspections is a 1099, independent contractor company based in Reno, NV and has been in business for over 9 Years. Opportunities Earning Predictable Full-Time or Supplemental Income and Flexible Schedule. Experience with Mortgage Field Inspections is Not Required but Good Time Management and Deadline Focus Are Essential.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection takes 5‑6 Minutes.
Complete inspection within 4 days after assignment.
Report general property conditions and determine occupancy per industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in a mobile application.
Be able to spend extended periods of time traveling & making stops within assigned territory.
Requirements
Computer with internet connection.
Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you'll pay for your own gas).
Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
Printer.
Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license.
Pay & Hours This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary by County and Volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of
$30‑$40 per hour . You could do anywhere from 20‑500 inspections per month depending on county (urban vs. rural). Work 2‑30 hours per week. Rates higher in lower volume counties, Lower rates & Higher volume counties lower rates. No set amount of inspections per month, but work is consistent month to month. There's no mileage reimbursement above flat fee per inspection. Earn more as you become established, have greater Availability, or cover a larger territory.
