Sr. Salesforce Lightning Developer

This initiative focuses on modernizing and optimizing field service technology to improve operational efficiency, technician productivity, and customer experience. The Lead FSL Developer will play a critical role in architecting and implementing Salesforce solutions that integrate with core enterprise platforms to support large-scale utility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable FSL solutions tailored to utility field operations (meter installations, inspections, repairs, outage response).
Configure and customize FSL features including Work Orders, Service Appointments, Scheduling Policies, and Mobile Flows.
Develop custom logic for scheduling, asset tracking, and outage management using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems such as GIS, OMS, and ERP.
Establish coding standards, version control, and CI/CD pipelines; perform code reviews.
Optimize mobile functionality for field technicians working in remote or offline environments.
Collaborate with field operations, IT, and customer service teams to align solutions with business needs.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2+ years in Field Service Lightning.
Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
Salesforce certifications preferred: FSL Consultant, Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant.
Preferred Skills
Experience with utility-specific systems (GIS, SCADA, OMS, AMI).
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards in utilities.
Familiarity with asset lifecycle management, crew dispatching, and outage restoration workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
