Electrical Panel Builder
The Electrical Panel Builder is responsible for all aspects of laying out, assembling, and final testing of Control Panel Systems for Automated Systems in manufacturing, distribution, utilities, and other control systems. The panel builder will read schematics and blueprints, work orders, and then select all of the parts for each project. They will lay out the enclosures, the wiring, the controllers, and the electronic components such as HMIs, VFDs, PLCs, and other electrical/electronic controller devices. Quality and appearance of these panels are extremely important. Work is done to UL508A standard. Shift and Pay Pay: $22-$28/hr This is a 1st shift role - Training M-F 7-3:30. After trained, flexible schedule. Can remain on 5 8's or can choose 4 10's Mon-Thur or Tues-Fri! Responsibilities Read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Select and lay out parts for each project. Assemble and wire enclosures, controllers, and electronic components. Ensure quality and appearance of control panels. Adhere to UL508A standards. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in Industrial Electricity. Strong schematic reading skills. Understanding of VFDs, PLCs, and Industrial Electricity. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr. In addition, the company provides a $50,000 term life insurance coverage on the employee. effective on the 1st of the month following 30 days of active service (July 1, 2022). Dental & vision insurance will begin after 90 days of active service.
