Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $19.57 - $29.38/hour. Additional compensation may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Overview Fleet Services by Cox Automotive (FSCA) is the nation‑wide provider of on‑site mobile maintenance and repair services for light, medium and heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. FSCA serves customers through its 20+ nationwide service centers and a 24/7 call center.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, and entering RO into the service database system.
Verify technicians have selected the correct VMRS code and that billing hours are in line with standard repair times.
Prepare actual invoices from created RO by applying customer‑specific rates and mark‑ups.
Improve RO quality by identifying weak points (e.g., missing information, incorrect information) and editing ROs to eliminate customer disputes.
Coordinate with technicians and Mobile Technician Leaders on repairs and required information to process invoices.
Create vehicle repair service estimates based on information from Mobile Technicians and Customers.
Communicate with customers via email, fax, or phone to retrieve purchase order approvals or discuss billing issues.
Gather necessary paperwork and upload it into the system for records.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years’ experience in a related field (or a higher degree with up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years’ experience).
Proficiency with Mitchell One or similar estimating systems.
Strong written, verbal, and phone communication and customer service skills.
Proficient computer skills (MS Office, email, typing, etc.) for generating estimates and processing invoices.
Sense of urgency, action oriented, and capable of working with minimal planning.
Existing knowledge of standard repair times (SRT) for common services.
Preferred experience in service writing.
Works well independently and effectively within a team environment.
Mathematical ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
Maintains a professional yet friendly demeanor.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Effective communication clarity.
Excellent attention to detail.
Calm and polite when dealing with frustrated customers or technicians.
