Direct Sales Agent Specialist (1533) - Direct Auto
Location: Grenada, MS
Job Description The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. This position drives sales, builds and retains a book of business within the market/retail location, and encourages cross‑sell among existing customers. The role involves walking‑in customers, marketing calls, in‑person visits, community relationships, and office assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business sales and cross‑sell product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
Generate new customers and maintain existing relationships to achieve sales goals.
Market products outside the office via marketing calls and in‑person visits to promote continued growth.
Assist customers in the office and ensure quality of service.

Minimum Qualifications
0‑2 years of experience
P&C licensing preferred or must attain required licensure within 90 days
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Successfully closes insurance sales and ancillary products
Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales and retention
Builds a sales pipeline using community contacts and active physical presence
Initiates outbound calls to target customer base
Monitors competitors and suggests market‑improving initiatives
Plans and manages marketing and sales processes with leadership
Delivers optimal results within metrics, ensuring quality, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
Stays current on underwriting guidelines and company policies
Processes customer payments and verifies receipts
Compensation Base hourly rate: $20.00 per hour. Total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.
