FAR Inspections is looking for highly motivated individuals to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. Independent contractors earn a predictable full‑time or supplemental income and enjoy a flexible schedule. Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required; effective time‑management and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial. Contract & Territory
Inspectors are contracted at a county level. You will be responsible for completing all inspections in your county and may split the county with another inspector if volume warrants. Responsibilities
Perform most inspections in 5–6 minutes. Complete each inspection within 4 days of assignment. Report general property conditions and determine occupancy using industry standards. Take 9+ photos with brief comments. Complete a short form in a mobile app. Spend extended periods driving within the assigned territory. Requirements
Computer with internet connection. Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage helps; you pay your own gas). Smartphone (Android or iPhone). Printer. Pass a standard background check using a valid driver’s license. Pay and Hours
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate that varies by county and volume. Although paid per inspection, the role yields an equivalent of $30–$40 per hour. Depending on the county you may complete 20–500 inspections per month while working 2–30 hours per week. Lower‑volume counties have higher rates; higher‑volume counties have lower rates. Earnings increase with experience and territory coverage. No additional mileage reimbursement beyond the flat fee per inspection. Apply HERE Only
