Job Summary Communicate and deliver Avaya and Jenne’s Cloud value proposition to Jenne’s existing and new reseller base, inside & outside sales teams. The roles and responsibilities of the Cloud Business Development Specialist may include but are not limited to:
Duties/Responsibilities
Convert existing partners from marketing and selling competitive brands to Avaya Cloud
Increase MRR of Avaya partners through enablement efforts
Identify, develop, and establish relationships with new partners
Drive business development activity and be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual business targets
Heavy outbound business development calling 7-10 per day and networking to hunt for and identify new partners
Recruit, onboard, train, mentor and motivate new partners on Avaya Cloud
Responsible for reporting on the progress of activities and the results at the frequency established by management
Drive the launch of new Avaya Cloud offers
Understand Avaya’s key initiatives, products, vertical markets served and effectively position the value to partners
Work with Jenne and Avaya sales teams to expand transacting partner base
Exercise independent judgement to identify, develop and establish relationships with new resellers
Point of contact for Jenne Partners on Avaya Programs
Utilize Avaya programs and incentives to leverage sales
Provide product expertise for Jenne sales and partners
Understand product road maps & communicate key elements
Understand go‑to‑market strategies, category trending and competitive information and leverage knowledge to increase recruitment and revenue
Product expert on complete Avaya portfolio and applicable hardware (SIP end points, SBC’s, SD‑WAN, switches, routers, etc.)
Utilize and provide tools, guides, and collateral for partners and Jenne sales teams
Develop relationships with partners and Avaya sales teams
Develop a “Focus” partner list through profiling and field engagement efforts
Drive quarterly planning and business reviews with key growth partners and Avaya sales team
Assist Jenne sales team to qualify, drive and track closure of pipeline opportunities with partners
Establish relationships and regular communication with Avaya sales teams
Develop engagement plan between Avaya and Jenne sales teams
Engage with key partners using video conferencing, audio conferencing and trade shows
Return on Investment (ROI) Measurements
Increase Avaya cloud revenue
Increase number of resellers purchasing Avaya cloud from Jenne

Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/sales, or relevant sales experience
Minimum of 2 plus years of sales experience
Product background knowledge of cloud, telephony, video conferencing and unified communications a plus
Must be highly motivated and possess a personal commitment to the success of the sales organization and goals
Travel
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Physical Requirements (In Compliance With ADA)
Ability to lift 10lbs
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time
This position is essential, and the employee must be physically in attendance at their designated workstation at our headquarters or home office location during normal business hours designated for this position
