Change Partner Lead
for the
Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) , you will play a key role in ensuring cross CoSA (Company or Staff Agency) strategic initiatives are implemented with maximum effectiveness by ensuring stakeholder buy-in, employee adoption and overall organizational readiness. The team focuses on the people side of change and partners to create and implement change management strategies and plans that optimize employee adoption. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations:
San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA, Plano, TX or Tampa, FL . Relocation assistance

available for this position. What you'll do:
Leads a cross-functional team of Change Management and readiness resources to drive the understanding, planning, management, and sustainment of change to ensure client success. Serves as subject matter expert in the Change Management discipline. Develops and integrates Change Strategy for a portfolio of change (a set of programs tied to a USAA Strategic Priority). Leads work to understand a change initiative, identify integration points and impacted audiences and assess the impact of a portfolio of change. Influences creation of change management plan. Continuously evaluate, refine and implement change management strategies and best practices to maximize user adoption & proficiency and minimize overall risk such that business results are achieved. Develops and implements scalable and reusable change management templates, stakeholder assessments, communication plans, etc. that can be leveraged by the team. Coaches and influences senior executives to lead change in a highly matrixed organization. Coaches and develops change partners. Helps mature the Change Management discipline and increase organizational change capability with thought leadership. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures. What you have:
Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree. 8 years of directly related experience in leading two or more business consulting disciplines such as organizational change management, communication, organizational design and/or development, marketing, human resources, management consulting and/or, project delivery and accountability for complex tasks and/or projects; 4 years must include change management experience; OR if Advanced Degree, 6 years of related experience, as previously referenced and 4 years must include change management experience. Expert knowledge of project management and/or change management function/discipline and overcoming resistance to change; demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities towards work products. Extensive experience influencing, applying emotional intelligence, organizational savvy and politics and partnering for client’s success. Experience driving/leading change initiatives for large transformations, coaching and influencing business leaders, setting change strategies/plans and executing them successfully. Advanced verbal and written communication skills to include ability to develop communications materials for multiple audiences and ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences from entry-level users to C-level executives. Strong understanding of project management methodologies delivery and principles. Working knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements. At least one Change Management professional designation and/or certification (ex: Prosci, CCMP) or must acquire within 6 months of hire date. What sets you apart:
Demonstrated success in working large, high impact, C-Suite facing cross-CoSA projects that are often ill-defined and amorphous, with significant cross-Enterprise impacts. Demonstrated ability to assess efforts to lead based upon size and complexity of work, criticality, alignment to USAA, Transformation Office and the EMPO’s strategic imperatives and goals, ability to apply CIA methodology to assess efforts, build business cases and scope out ill-defined efforts. Demonstrated ability to operate with senior executives with competing agendas, navigate political environments to negotiate and arrive at a mutually agreed-upon conclusion. 12+ years of corporate experience. Demonstrated program and change-managing experience with large, Cross-CoSA confidential projects. Masters in Business Administration or higher completed or in-progress PHD. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe Agilist and/or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Expert oral, written skills and demonstrated expert proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products.
