Proficient in products, services and routine transactions to identify opportunities to educate customers on Bank products and services or refer them to the appropriate team member, while ensuring a positive customer experience. Maintain broad knowledge of the full product suite, services, and processes of the business area; operate with low to moderate complexity/risk. Establish and nurture customer relationships by applying product knowledge, listening to needs, and offering solutions or referrals. Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight features and benefits that support financial goals and TD relationships. Utilize customer relationship management tools to proactively identify solutions and lead-focused outbound activities. Independently resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary. Build working relationships with customers and explain detailed information as needed. Participate in customer outreach, servicing and advice activities to deliver TD’s customer promise. Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate the application intake; maintain active NMLS registration status. Education & Experience
HS Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience working with customers or sales in any capacity, or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience (preferred). Teller experience preferred; must complete teller training upon hire. Demonstrated ability to engage customers while educating them on products and services. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication skills. Ability to schedule and prioritize work; work independently and within deadlines; sound judgment and problem solving. Proficient in Microsoft Office; Notary License (Preferred). Accountabilities
Customer Accountabilities: Deliver a Legendary customer experience, provide end-to-end advisory support, and educate customers using educational content and tools. Brand champion for internally and externally; educate clients on self-service channels and digital options; act as escalation point for customer questions. Handle teller transactions (check cashing, deposits, transfers, withdrawals) while monitoring fraud and adhering to policies. Shareholder & Employee/Team Accountabilities
Adhere to regulatory guidelines (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act) and TD risk framework; ensure accurate documentation of transactions. Contribute to operational excellence and adherence to risk and control policies; support a diverse and inclusive culture; act as a TD brand ambassador. Engage in ongoing professional development, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with partner bankers; maintain quality standards. Participate in TD’s Shared Commitments and code of conduct; support positive work environment and change adaptation. Physical Requirements
