The Retail Banker I is a customer liaison integral to delivering TD’s Brand promise by utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist Customers with their banking solutions and needs. Depth & Scope

Proficient in products, services, and routine transactions to identify opportunities to educate on Bank products and services. Full knowledge of the product suite and understands business processes (low to moderate complexity). Establishes and nurtures Customer relationships with product knowledge and active listening. Recommends products based on Customer needs, highlighting features and benefits. Uses Customer relationship management tools for outbound sales activities. Independently resolves customer issues, errors, and problems, escalating when necessary. Builds working relationships and explains detailed information. Participates in outreach, servicing, and advice activities. Engages in conversations about loan products and facilitates application intake. Maintains an active registration status with NMLS. Education & Experience

HS Diploma or GED. 1+ years of customer-facing or sales experience (volunteering, education, military preferred). Teller experience preferred; must complete teller training upon hire. Ability to educate customers on products and services. Organizational skills for multitasking. Excellent communication skills. Prioritizing and scheduling work. Independent work with deadlines. Sound judgment and problem solving. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Notary License preferred. Employee/Team Accountabilities
