Duties and Responsibilities:
Enter data into election management systems.
Prepare outgoing mailed materials, including printing, copying, folding, labeling and combining.
Process incoming mail, including collecting, sorting, distributing, scanning, filing.
Answer phones, document call information, respond to questions or direct caller to appropriate resource.
Operate office and commercial scale equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers.
Match and reconcile documents and data.
Move files, boxes and other materials.
Other duties as requested.

Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Pay close attention to details.
Basic skills with Microsoft Office tools.
Willingness and ability to learn new computer skills.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
Ability to follow instructions closely, and understand the flow of a process.
Ability to lift 30-40 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods.

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
Temp Full-time | Position End Date: March 13, 2026 - This is a temporary position being onboarded through a Harris County–contracted agency.
Position End Date may be extended or shortened, based upon available workload and at Director's discretion.
Standard work hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm | 30-minute lunch and (2) 15-minute breaks
Longer hours to be expected during peak election work periods, at some times may exceed 10 hours/day.
Working within a team of 30+.
Tasks may vary during and from day to day.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Working in both a warehouse and office environment, occasionally near typical warehouse equipment and commercial printing, copying, scanning equipment.
Security of processes and work materials is paramount. Safety emphasized. Free parking, small lockers for personal items provided.
Ability to lift 30-40 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Salary:
$17.00Hourly
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.
