Position Description Duties and Responsibilities: Enter data into election management systems. Prepare outgoing mailed materials, including printing, copying, folding, labeling and combining. Process incoming mail, including collecting, sorting, distributing, scanning, filing. Answer phones, document call information, respond to questions or direct caller to appropriate resource. Standard work hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm | 30-minute lunch and (2) 15-minute breaks
Longer hours to be expected during peak election work periods, at some times may exceed 10 hours/day. Working within a team of 30+. Tasks may vary during and from day to day.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Working in both a warehouse and office environment, occasionally near typical warehouse equipment and commercial printing, copying, scanning equipment. Security of processes and work materials is paramount. Safety emphasized. Free parking, small lockers for personal items provided. Ability to lift 30-40 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods.
