Position The Inventory Analyst, Ad Sales plays a critical role in maximizing the value of FanDuel Sports Network’s commercial inventory across live broadcasts and shoulder programming. Focused primarily on MLB, NBA, and NHL properties, this role ensures our ad inventory is forecasted accurately, sold efficiently, and monetized strategically across both linear and digital platforms. This is a hybrid role located in NYC. The Game Plan Track, analyze, and forecast advertising inventory across live sports broadcasts (MLB, NBA, NHL) and original programming across all RSNs. Partner with Sales, Planning, and Programming teams to align inventory availability with content schedules and sales strategy. Monitor sell‑through rates, preemptions, and under/over‑sold areas to support revenue maximization. Identify revenue opportunities in shoulder programming, pre/post‑game shows, and special events. Support pricing strategies by providing data‑driven insights on inventory demand, ratings performance, and market trends. Maintain inventory management systems and dashboards (e.g., WideOrbit, Excel, Power BI) to ensure real‑time accuracy. Collaborate with the linear and digital ad ops teams to coordinate inventory across cable and streaming platforms. Provide regular reporting and post‑campaign analysis to internal stakeholders and leadership. Stay informed on programming changes, league schedules, and playoff scenarios that may impact inventory. The Stats Proficiency in ad sales systems such as WideOrbit, Operative One, or similar tools. Strong analytical and Excel skills (pivot tables, x‑lookups, modeling). Familiarity with live sports schedules, seasonality, and local broadcast considerations. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment with live event pressure. Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills. A passion for local sports and fan‑first media experiences.
