Job Summary Personal Banker at BOK Financial, responsible for delivering exceptional client experience and building strong relationships. Offers a 9‑week Banking Navigator training program to prepare you for success.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional client experience to build, expand, and retain long‑term client relationships.
Provide consultative conversations to assess financial needs and offer products/services.
Open retail products, including loan products, by making recommendations during routine service.
Educate clients about online banking, Bill Pay, E‑Statements, mobile and ATM deposit capabilities.
Resolve simple to moderate client problems while ensuring highest level of satisfaction.
Execute teller transactions (cash checks, withdrawals, balance checks) and look for opportunities to deepen relationships.
Comply with internal control, audit, security, and compliance policies and laws.
Participate in professional development: training, coaching, self‑improvement to enhance product, system, sales and client relations skills.
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, plus 1+ years of sales or customer service experience; college degree is a plus or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of consumer financial products and services.
Experience with banking, retail sales operations, or contact center operations (phone, email, chat).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette.
Problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to follow established standards and use judgment to determine escalation.
Strong basic math skills for reconciling accounts.
Proficient with PC applications (word processing, spreadsheets) and ability to learn internal systems.
Ability to multi‑task and work under pressure.
Detail oriented with high accuracy and strong interpersonal, sales, and client relation skills.
Works well in a fast‑paced environment.
Training & Development Participate in the 9‑week Banking Navigator program, which includes virtual facilitation, self‑paced eLearning, on‑the‑job training, and skill application exercises. Upon graduation, you’ll be fully prepared to thrive as a Personal Banker.
