Lead Specialist: Global Sourcing & Materials Acquisition
We are looking for a high-impact
Lead Sourcing Specialist
to join our international procurement team. This role is a perfect fit for a "strategist-doer" who can manage the full lifecycle of complex acquisitions, from initial vendor identification to long-term contract stewardship.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that our operational workflow remains uninterrupted by leveraging data-driven sourcing and building resilient partnerships with international providers.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Acquisitions & Negotiation
Sourcing Innovation:
Create and deploy purchasing frameworks that guarantee the continuous flow of critical materials and services.
Fiscal Optimization:
Drive the identification of high-value providers and lead the negotiation of commercial terms to maximize quality and cost-efficiency.
Risk Shielding:
Stay ahead of market fluctuations and global trends to protect the organization from supply chain volatility.
Performance Auditing:
Maintain high standards through regular vendor assessments, KPI tracking, and proactive conflict resolution.
Operational Synergy:
Work as a technical bridge between Finance, Operations, and Engineering to ensure all procurement activities are in lock-step with company growth.
Continuous Improvement:
Spearhead initiatives to modernize internal purchasing tools and refine existing workflow protocols.
Inventory & Analytics
Dynamic Planning:
Support demand forecasting and inventory balancing to reduce waste and optimize capital.
Executive Visibility:
Translate complex procurement data into clear, actionable reports regarding cost savings and partner health.
Candidate Profile
Proven Track Record:
At least 5 years of professional experience in strategic sourcing or materials management.
Analytical Foundation:
A degree in a technical or business field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business Ops, or Engineering).
Technical Toolkit:
Practical experience with large-scale
ERP/MRP environments
(direct
SAP
experience is a significant advantage).
Supply Logic:
Deep familiarity with modern fulfillment strategies such as
VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)
and
JIT (Just-In-Time) .
Contractual Knowledge:
A firm grasp of commercial law and the nuances of international trade.
Global Readiness:
International Residency:
Candidates must be able to complete an initial
3–6 month assignment at our overseas corporate hub
to align with global procurement standards.
Travel Flexibility:
Ability to travel internationally (up to 30%) for vendor site visits and corporate planning sessions.
Professional credentials such as
CPSM, CSCP, or PMP .
Advanced data analytics skills and Excel mastery.
Bilingual proficiency
is highly valued.
Previous experience in a high-precision manufacturing or capital-intensive sector.
