Company Description Assisted Living Locators — South Nashville is a Veteran-owned local senior placement service. We help seniors and their families find the perfect independent living, assisted living or memory care community, and we do it all at no cost to the client. We provide peace of mind by personally guiding our clients through the process of finding the right senior home and by simplifying the overwhelming amount of information surrounding these critical and emotionally charged decisions. Our senior professionals have multiple decades of experience in the senior industry, so we know which communities are the best fit for our clients. We tour with our clients, and we like to say we’ll hold their hands if we need to, because we’re standing right next to them throughout the process. Our fees are paid by the communities we work with, so there is absolutely no cost to our clients for our service. We are proud to be able to serve our seniors.

Role Description This is a commission-based contract role for a Business Development Specialist focusing on the southern half of Nashville and Williamson, Rutherford, and Maury Counties. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with referral partners, particularly those in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, which lead to referrals to seniors and/or their families who need assistance finding the best senior community based their needs and desires.

Qualifications

Desire to serve our senior population and their families

Ability to create strong referral relationships with social workers, discharge planners, geriatric care managers, and other medical professionals who work with seniors

Enthusiasm for regular in-person follow up with referral partners

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with proven experience in meeting targets

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Previous experience in business development or sales is an added advantage, particularly within the healthcare sector
