In addition to awesome co-workers and a great company culture, Red E provides eligible employees with: 401K Retirement Plan with Company Match Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plan options Life and Disability Insurance Plan options Supplemental Voluntary Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays Matching Charitable Gift Fund Quarterly Team Building Events Modified Flex Time Plan Annual Profit Sharing What We Do Create 3D models and engineering drawings of parts and assemblies Create design documentation and product manuals Document and communicate project information Use good problem solving skills even when something isn’t clearly defined or known Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales team Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and team members Mechanical Designer Additional Possibilities Shipping and receiving of parts Material handling, forklift and truck/trailer operation Assisting with product installs at customer job sites Assembly and light fabrication Assistance with part deliveries and customer field visits Mechanical Designer Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Drafting Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience 1+ years’ experience in mechanical design Ability to Research and develop new product ideas and innovations In depth knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or similar) Able to effectively work in a team and with diverse customers to meet their project needs Strong problem solving and communication skills Good knowledge of metal fabrication processes Ability to construct prototypes and fabricate new and existing products a plus Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively Ability to work independently/self-directed and as a member of a team Strong work ethic, integrity, and initiative Mechanical, Construction, or Farm industry experience/background Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills The pay range for this role is: 55,000 - 75,000 USD per year (Main Office) #J-18808-Ljbffr
