HR Generalist – Manufacturing Environment
Location:
Vancouver, WA (Primary) with occasional travel to Ridgefield, WA
Type:
Contract to Hire (6 Month)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (Flexibility to stay until 6–7 PM a few days per week)
About the Role We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a leading consumer packaged goods company and support two manufacturing plant locations. This role is critical in managing attendance tracking and conducting investigations for a blended workforce of approximately 500 hourly and salaried employees. You’ll collaborate closely with plant leadership and HR partners to ensure compliance and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct attendance audits and track points for hourly associates.
Manage behavioral investigations and implement corrective actions.
Partner with HR leadership to support workforce management across Vancouver and Ridgefield plants.
Utilize HRIS and payroll systems for accurate reporting and compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
1–3+ years of experience in attendance management and absence tracking.
Experience managing a blended workforce of hourly and salaried employees (300+ employees).
Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems (WorkDay or WorkForce).
Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field.
Ability to work onsite in Vancouver and occasionally travel to Ridgefield.
Flexibility to work late (6–7 PM) a few days per week.
Nice to Have
Experience with Dayforce software.
HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
