Base pay range
$65,000 - $75,000 per year

Essential Functions
Point of contact for all parties regarding Title Review/Clearances, Property Insurance and Closing statuses
Engaging Title and Insurance contacts
Review the results of the title search, copies of all easements, encumbrances, and any other related title work
Request and review closing protection letters and place orders for funding shield certificate
Confirm title requirements are met and confirm issuance of required title endorsements, and exceptions to be omitted
Request, review and approve pro forma or marked up title work prior to closing
Request, review and approve property and liability insurance certificates
Request and analyze current real estate tax information
Maintaining lenders LOS up to date with current statuses, ensuring data integrity, e.g. Property Addresses, APNs, County, Vendor Contacts etc.
Perform duties under moderate to close supervision and actively engage supervisor and/or manager to resolve complex issues
Remain current on all closing guidelines and compliance requirements
Adhering to established SLAs and deadlines
Effectively communicate status and expectations to internal staff, attorneys, and escrow/title
Utilize time management skills to stay on track with multiple loans at various stages of the funding process
Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
Ability to articulate issues, problem solve and analyze with creative and outside of the box thinking
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with internal and external partners; ability to convey findings in a concise and comprehensive manner
Effective organization and time management skills
Capability to build trusting relationships internally and externally and elicit confidence by demonstrating reliability
Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a cooperative and diverse environment
Capacity to analyze processes, support change and think operationally and strategically to achieve business goals
Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Title/Escrow or Funding
Working knowledge of lending practices and industry standard processes
