Responsibilities Asset Protection Security

Possesses knowledge of asset protection policies, practices and guidelines.

Supports facility security staff.

Monitors and maintains access control equipment.

Employee Health and Safety

Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and compliance, safety, and food‑safety auditing processes.

Accesses organizational resources to address business‑specific health‑and‑safety hazards.

Supports implementation of OSHA guidelines and highlights business risks to facility management.

Maintains a directory of emergency response personnel and summons emergency services as necessary.

Conducts compliance safety and food‑safety audits and daily building audits, produces audit reports, and assists workers’ compensation issues.

Partnership Collaboration

Possesses knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement techniques, and management tools.

Owns delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others and supports process updates.

Solves simple business issues and demonstrates functional knowledge of the business unit/organization.

Data and Digital Literacy

Knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, tools, and data governance.

Gathers and interprets data in digital environments, analyzes and creates reports, and leverages technology for transactional activities.

Reviews data for completeness, applies data quality checks, and suggests process automation.

EHS Training Delivery

Knowledge of training methodologies, content development, and training lifecycles.

Supports instructors and facilitates training programs, solicits feedback, and maintains training repositories.

Explains processes and procedures to contractors.

Influential Communication

Knowledge of verbal/nonverbal behaviors, communication styles and techniques.

Organizes thoughts, presents to and influences team members, uses data to articulate results, and builds professional networks.

Process Improvement

Supports implementation of process improvement strategies and identifies gaps.

Suggests process improvements and participates in root‑cause analysis.

Environmental Protection

Knowledge of environmental policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Demonstrates awareness of environmental regulations, redirects regulatory inquiries, and implements Walmart’s environmental policies.

Contributes to target achievement and promotes environmental issues.

Operational Excellence

Knowledge of organizational processes, root‑cause analysis, SOPs, and OBW procedures.

Explains operational functions and clarifies roles within the organization.

Identifies primary operational functions and locates SOP/OBW information.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and completes work assignments prioritizing tasks, communication, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications 6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year’s work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field.

Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive; work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field.
