Leasing Agent - Part Time

WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a friendly and energetic Leasing Agent – Part Time to join our leasing team at Twin Ridge Apartments in Pikesville, MD. The role involves assisting with resident and potential resident files, performing administrative duties, and supporting leases and property operations.
Hourly rate starting at $19 an hour. Leasing associates receive a competitive base pay plus commission and bonus opportunities.
In This Role, Your Essential Functions Will Include
Tracking all phone and walk‑in traffic by recording into the system daily and preparing weekly traffic reports
Assisting applicants through the application process and gathering supporting documentation
Maintaining marketing materials
Managing vacancies by maintaining a vacancy report daily and performing checklist items to prepare units for move‑in
Ensuring vacant apartments are ready for move‑in by performing minor cleaning of fixtures, floors, windows, etc.
Promoting resident retention through the Resident Retention Plan and assisting with community events
Visiting competitor properties quarterly to stay informed of specials
Assisting management in establishing, promoting, and maintaining positive relations with residents and daily operations
Providing prospects, residents, and vendors assistance with scheduling building tours, maintenance, building procedures, and general information
Coordinating, marketing, and participating in resident outreach and marketing events
Providing support to Property Managers by producing, modifying, and distributing various forms, spreadsheets, manuals, and information packages
Processing correspondence with residents, contractors, and other third parties for the Property Management staff
Maintaining and updating insurance certificate files for all residents
Assisting in electronic/hard copy filing systems for residents, invoices, purchase orders, vendors, and other files
Contributing toward operational needs by providing phone coverage and administrative support for property management operations
Performing other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Present a positive professional image in appearance, demeanor, and dress
Operate a PC and learn new software
Communicate effectively
Work flexible hours as business needs dictate
Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
Work weekends and occasional evenings
Strong attention to detail
Commitment to excellence
Successfully multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred
Compensation and Schedule Part‑time position requiring two 8‑hour shifts per week from 8:45 am–5:30 pm and Saturday from 10 am–5 pm. Competitive base pay plus commission and bonus opportunities.
