Placement Specialist – Acrisure The Placement Specialist role at Acrisure involves managing and executing key components of the new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts. The incumbent will oversee timelines, conduct exposure analysis, prepare quote specifications, negotiate coverage terms, and present comprehensive proposals to clients, collaborating closely with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Scope The individual will manage the new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts, ensuring timely delivery, thorough exposure analysis, accurate quote specifications, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

Maintain timelines and processes during new business and renewal cycles, including exposure analysis, quote specifications, coverage negotiations, and proposal preparation.

Communicate effectively within the team and with partners.

Review insurance policies and contracts, recommending improvements.

Prepare property and casualty submissions, including specifications, Acord applications, loss summaries, exposure schedules, and prospect profiles.

Analyze spreadsheets and develop financial models for loss‑sensitive programs.

Maintain relationships with insurance companies and wholesalers.

Handle confidential and non‑routine information.

Operate carrier systems and rating tools to support quoting and proposals.

Maintain licensing compliance and continuing education.

Pursue professional development through seminars, meetings, and events.

Perform coverage gap analysis and recommend strategic coverage tailored to each client.

Lead projects both independently and within a team.

Engage Risk Resources for specialized expertise and solutions for complex client needs.

Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant insurance experience, focusing on middle to large market placements.

Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and accept direction on assignments.

Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.

Experience with Epic is a plus.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Detail‑oriented document accuracy.

Team‑oriented customer service mindset.

Experience marketing large middle‑market accounts to carriers.

Solid knowledge of basic applicable insurance coverages.

Ability to create proposal presentation documents.

College degree preferred.

Current applicable insurance license required.

Preferred professional designations: CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
