Position Overview The Junior AI Specialist is responsible for supporting senior team members and executing foundational tasks related to the development, deployment, and optimization of conversational AI solutions in a BPO environment. Key Responsibilities

1. Conversational Design Support Assist in creating initial conversation flows and developing basic dialog trees for AI platforms Learn and apply foundational user‑centric design principles to support intuitive customer interactions 2. Development & Configuration Assistance Execute basic configuration and maintenance tasks on Amazon Connect and Genesys (our core conversational AI platforms) Support the development and foundational training of Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Assist in basic Prompt Engineering tasks and document results from experiments involving large language models (LLMs), such as OpenAI GPT or Anthropic Claude 3. Testing & Execution Execute predefined testing scenarios on conversational systems to verify basic functionality, accuracy, and efficiency Gather and document data on user interactions to support senior specialists in identifying refinement areas for conversational flows 4. Analytics & Monitoring Monitor system performance indicators and compile basic customer engagement metrics Extract and compile data using analytics tools to help assess the success of AI implementations 5. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with AI Specialists and developers to ensure solutions align with defined business goals Support coordination efforts with business, support, and technical teams to gather basic requirements needed for solution tailoring Requirements

Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field Experience 0–2 years of experience in AI development through one or more of the following:

Professional experience or internships focused on conversational systems Academic projects involving chatbots, voice assistants, or NLP applications Personal projects demonstrating conversational AI development (e.g., Discord bots, Telegram chatbots, voice assistants, or custom AI integrations using LLMs) Advantageous experiences include a demonstrated interest in constructing conversational flows or dialog systems. Technical Knowledge (Familiarity/Exposure) Familiarity with

Amazon Connect

and/or

Genesys

/ Twilio

(our primary platforms) Basic understanding of NLP/NLU frameworks (e.g., Rasa, Dialogflow, or similar) Exposure to programming languages relevant for AI/ML support tasks:

Python

(primary language for AI/ML work) JavaScript (helpful for integrations)

Familiarity with

AWS

/ Azure

cloud platforms (our primary cloud environments) Exposure to integrating Speech‑To‑Text and Text‑To‑Speech platforms (e.g., Amazon Polly, Amazon Transcribe, or similar services) Skills Developing analytical and problem‑solving skills Good written communication and basic presentation abilities Familiarity with agile methodologies used for collaborative development Basic understanding of version control (Git/GitHub) Preferred Qualifications

Practical experience (academic or professional) working with speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech systems Personal portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing conversational AI projects Basic knowledge of requirements for multilingual conversational AI solutions Certification in foundational AI/ concepts or

AWS

cloud technologies would be advantageous Experience with conversational AI testing or quality assurance would be advantageous
