Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for all risk management matters.
Works with internal team as well as insurance broker and carriers on various matters, including claim filings, insurance policy renewals and changes.
Obtains and renews dental licenses for doctors in various jurisdictions.
Ability to research and solve problems.
Ability to draft, revise, and edit legal documents.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with competency in grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Prerequisites for success
Bachelor’s Degree in law or a related field preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in corporate paralegal work including risk management and licensing required.
Paralegal certification preferred.
Insurance industry, licensing and healthcare or corporate law experience preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams required.
Intermediate analytical skills with strong conceptual and research skills required.
