Business Development Associate – Employee Benefits Alliant Insurance Services is hiring a Business Development Associate for our Employee Benefits division with Transitions Benefit Group office. The role focuses on building employer relationships, delivering presentations, and selling benefits solutions that help businesses support employees.

Location & Schedule In‑office: 290 E Main St, Canton, GA 30114. Remote candidates with 2+ years of experience are welcome. Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST.

Compensation Hourly rate plus commission.

Responsibilities

Promote the company’s product portfolio and specialize in assigned products.

Conduct outbound recruiting calls to set appointments with Marketing Consultants—handle 100+ calls per day with 2 hours of talk time.

Refer agents to Marketing Consultants based on informational needs, particularly for products outside the scope.

Utilize HubSpot for recruiting calls and email sequencing.

Maintain Contact Management System information and task lists in accordance with policies.

Recruit agents for special marketing opportunities.

Collaborate with staff to advance the business mission and serve on internal and external committees.

Assist with special projects and assignments as requested.

Qualifications

High School, GED, or equivalent education/experience (Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred).

Three or more years of experience in the general insurance industry or related field (financial services, marketing, web‑based business, B2B customer service or call center).

Valid insurance license.

Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook.

Strong communication, problem‑solving, time‑management, and project‑management skills.

Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level – Full‑time Business Development and Sales.
