Essential Functions
Secure or unlock building when required.
Drive a corporate vehicle when required.
Perform requirements of food products two weeks in advance.
Write orders for the next day’s delivery.
Rotate all incoming stock in FIFO style.
Thaw products necessary for menu items.
Communicate with employees about products needed for menu items.
Carefully check all delivery items for order accuracy and quality and inform Manager of discrepancies.
Have good working knowledge of NYS Health Codes for proper storage.
Accept all direct deliveries (e.g., milk, bread, soda).
Do a milk order each morning by 10:00 am for the next day’s delivery; call as needed.
Check soda deliveries and ensure proper storage of bag-in-box products.
Remove dented cans and transfer products back to warehouse for credit.
Label open freezer products with name and weight of each case.
Check cooler and freezer temperatures consistently and maintain functional thermometers.
Store all products in compliance with ServSafe regulations.
Write interdepartmental transfer sheets correctly when another unit borrows items.
Notify Manager of out-of-timed deliveries.
On the last day of the month, ensure storerooms, freezers, and coolers are neat and organized for inventory.
Work in salads, bakes, deli, and cooks' areas if needed.
Read catering sheets accurately.
Set up a coffee service without assistance.
Maintain cleanliness of refrigeration and dry storage areas.
Perform other duties as assigned to reach organizational goals.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Extensive computer use (Microsoft Word, Excel).
