Join Our Team as a Full Time Floating Maintenance Technician
Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the South, FL Region. If you are a community‑inspired, passion‑driven individual with a can‑do attitude, we want you on our growing team!
Key Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a multi‑family apartment style community
EPA 608 Type I & II or EPA Universal certification is a very strong requirement for this position
Ability to work independently in multi‑site or larger properties, and within a team environment
Valid/active driver’s license, ability to travel within assigned portfolio/region in South, FL

Responsibilities
Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
Perform on‑call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or GED; industry‑related courses preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or groundskeeper
Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Skills & Certifications:
EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
Valid Driver's License required
Proficient in English for communication and record‑keeping purposes
