Floating Maintenance Technician Richman Property Services is seeking a full‑time Floating Maintenance Technician for the South, FL Region.

Pay Range:

$26.00 - $28.00 per hour (actual pay based on skills and experience, discuss with recruiter).

Location:

South, FL Region

Responsibilities

Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.

Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines.

Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.

Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and the Clean Air Act.

Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment.

Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner.

Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service.

Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development.

Assist in property preventative maintenance plan.

Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds.

Perform on‑call duties and occasional overtime.

Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or GED; industry‑related courses preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of two years of maintenance and general repair experience or groundskeeping.

Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.

Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Skills & Certifications:

EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.

Proficient in English for communication and record‑keeping purposes.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a multi‑family apartment community.

EPA 608 type I & II or EPA Universal is a very strong requirement.

Ability to work independently in multi‑site or larger properties, and within a team environment.

Valid/active driver’s license, ability to travel within assigned portfolio/region in South, FL.
