How You Can Make An Impact Mill Rock Packaging is excited to start the search for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This position is located onsite at our St. Paul facility, reporting to the Area Supervisor. As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for overseeing shipping/receiving goods in an energized, fast paced environment. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain inventory records, and handle related administrative tasks.

A Day In The Life
Review scheduled shipments and coordinate the outbound shipping schedule with the Shipping team.
Work with carrier partners and internal team members to understand the urgency of the freight, resolve issues, and ensure top tier service and performance.
Responsible for maintaining and updating all shipping records.
Collaborates with Customer Service team and supervisors to ensure coordination of special shipments and rush orders.
Contact common carriers and schedule return freight, ensuring the meeting of customer delivery requirements.
Complete and maintain all paperwork.
Notify customers when will call orders are ready to be picked up.
Other duties as assigned or required to complete the above tasks.
What does it take to be successful in this role? Basic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a production warehouse or distribution environment.
Minimum one year Forklift experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical stamina to move about the warehouse throughout the entire shift.
What Will Make You Stand Out
Forklift certification.
2-4 Years experience in a similar role.
Proficiency with computerized inventory management systems and software.
Physical Requirements And Work Environment Work exclusively in the production area requiring long periods of standing, lifting (50#) and repetitive motion. Steel toe or composite shoes are required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. This position requires repetitive lifting and bending.
The employee must be able to stand for 8+ hours. The employee must be able to regularly lift/or move 50-80 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Must fulfill the following training and testing requirements: Motorized Hand Truck Operation; Power Industrial Truck Training; Narrow Aisle Reach Truck Operation Quality System Orientation; Right-to-Know (Initial and Refresher); Safety in the Workplace. WE TRAIN YOU ON SITE!
