Overview
Looking for several Assistant Golf Professionals or Golf Shop Staff at one of the highest volume Golf Courses in the DFW Area. Built in 1997, and purchased by Advanced Golf Partners in 2017, this D.A. Weibring gem has become a training ground and the standard for success for our company. We are looking for team oriented, career driven individuals that would like to learn and grow in the golf business and ultimately have long term aspirations to become a Department Head or a Facility Manager in a fun driven environment. Will keep the position posted until filled.
Experience Required PGA Associate Level 1 or higher preferred or any work experience in golf operations or sales related field. Must be team oriented with the right attitude, skills and work ethic for success. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of customer service, attention to detail and communication skills. Value is placed on the ability to anticipate the needs of patrons and ability to exceed expectations.
Essential Responsibilities Assist in the daily operation of a public 18-hole golf facility, as follows:
Manage day-to-day course business within the golf operation.
Selling and Promoting membership programs of the club.
Assist in executing the communication of the company Brand Priorities for the facility.
Public relations, communicate with guests and fellow staff to ensure needs are met and exceeded.
Foster customer relationships and enrich the golfing experience.
Operate a point-of-sale system and perform accurate transactions.
Supervise outside service staff including hiring, training, scheduling.
Maintain a professional presentation at all times.
Understand, support and promote facility goals and marketing efforts.
Assist in both Starting Play and Managing Pace of Play on the course daily.
