Location: Cary, NC (Field position, 70% travel) Salary: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00

Job Summary LIBERTY ADVANTAGE INSURANCE SALES AGENT (MEDICARE) is responsible for enrolling eligible individuals into the Medicare Advantage plan, managing relationships with offices and referral sources, and executing sales/marketing plans.

Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel at offices and other referral sources.

Enroll eligible individuals into the Medicare Advantage plan by explaining plan benefits, answering questions, and guiding prospects through the enrollment process.

Maintain accurate and current sales activity reports and records for distribution to leadership.

Comply with regulatory requirements for marketing and sales; follow and adhere to applicable market conduct rules.

Work with offices in the development and execution of the sales/marketing plan.

Take inventory of plan marketing materials for each assigned office and notify operations director if a new shipment is needed.

Evaluate office marketing plan and modify as needed to achieve desired results.

Position requires 70% travel in assigned areas; the remaining 30% is work from home.

Job Requirements

Must hold a current license to sell health insurance in North Carolina.

Must maintain all requirements to sell health insurance in North Carolina and be in good standing with the licensing board.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Prior sales experience in the healthcare market preferred, but not required.

Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Willingness and ability to travel to offices within your assigned region; a home workspace that allows for a productive office environment is also necessary.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Exceptional organizational skills.

Background checks/drug-free workplace.
