Overview We are seeking a highly experienced B2B Collections Specialist to manage a large, fast-paced portfolio of customer accounts. This role requires deep experience handling delinquent balances, particularly
accounts aged over 90 days , and the ability to thrive in a demanding, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage
high-volume B2B collections
for a portfolio exceeding
1,000 active accounts
Take full ownership of
past-due balances over 90 days , working accounts through resolution prior to referral to third-party collections
Proactively contact customers to resolve payment delays, disputes, and billing issues
Analyze aging reports and prioritize collection strategies to reduce delinquency
Document collection activity and maintain accurate notes within the ERP system
Collaborate with Credit, AR, Sales, and Accounting to resolve escalated accounts
Qualifications
3–5+ years of B2B collections experience , preferably in a high-volume environment
Proven experience managing
large aging portfolios
with significant balances over 90 days past due
Experience handling either
large-dollar accounts
or
high volumes of smaller accounts
Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
ERP system experience and strong organizational skills
