Position Summary What you'll do: You will support the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) by collaborating with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educating associates on tools and tasks, and mentoring new technicians. You will demonstrate expertise in safety, compliance, and tire/battery industry standards, operate point‑of‑sale systems, use digital tools for sales and service planning, and manage equipment, inventory, and cash handling. You will advocate for members, maintain a positive and inclusive workplace, uphold integrity and Walmart values, and continuously improve processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests and mentor new technicians.
Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, and equipment operations including TPMS.
Utilize digital tools and hand‑held technology to plan and drive sales, improve service experience, and support associate engagement.
Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs; process transactions, track returns and special orders, and maintain accurate inventory audit and safety standards.
Assist members with purchasing decisions, resolve issues, and ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies.
Advocate the brand and model high‑quality service and products through respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented behavior.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, recommend process enhancements, and adapt to change and feedback.
Act with integrity, uphold Walmart values, and promote a regenerative company culture.
Serve customers and members by putting the customer first and making data‑driven decisions that balance short and long‑term priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid state‑issued driver's license.
18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Auto service industry or retail experience.
