Duties, Responsibilities & Other

Minimum of two years survey drafting experience utilizing surveying, Civil3D, and/or MicroStation. Candidates with experience in one software must be willing to learn others.

Daily CAD drafting skills required; knowledge of land surveying; ability to analyze field data, utilize 3D data; ability to work with a team to take field data and produce CAD files and maps.

Open Roads experience preferred; willingness to learn Open Roads.

Proficient in generating digital terrain models (DTMs), creating break lines and contours.

Perform land record research (deeds and plats) and plot deeds and plats in a CADD environment.

Take directions and create quality CAD products including topographic maps, boundary maps, and ALTA/NSPS land title maps.

Valid driver’s license required, clean record, reliable, good work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution: Record and report daily forms; adhere to scope, schedule, budget; review all work before starting; ensure tasks meet standards; inspect and correct work.

Communication: Communicate with staff and supervisors; clearly convey workflow needs.

Compliance: Follow OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies; review safety daily and resolve issues.

Team Collaboration: Participate in cross‑training; collaborate to maximize production and accuracy.

Other Tasks: Submit accurate timesheets, mileage, expense reports; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years relevant experience.

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to maintain required certifications.

Pre‑employment drug screening and background/motor vehicle checks may be required based on position.
