Qualifications – Youth Parks & Playgrounds Leader
Must be at least 18 years old.
Available for 4‑8 hour shifts Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
Valid California Driver’s License desirable.
CPR/First Aid certification on first day of employment (training provided).
Qualifications – Fitness Attendant
Must be at least 18 years old.
Available for 4‑8 hour shifts Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
Valid California Driver’s License desirable.
CPR/First Aid certification on first day of employment (training provided).
Qualifications – Lifeguard
Must be 15.5 years of age.
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certificate (CPR, AED, First Aid).
Certification by first day of employment or soon afterward.
Qualifications – Park Monitor
Must be at least 18 years old.
Certifications: CPR, AED, and First Aid prior to start of work.
Fingerprint screening, satisfactory background check, and valid TB result.
Valid California Driver’s License, satisfactory driving record, and own transportation.
Qualifications – Pool Manager
Must be at least 18 years old.
Two years of aquatic experience and leadership preferred.
Red Cross certifications: Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Training, Community First Aid and Safety, CPR/FPR.
Desirable certifications: LGI Lifeguard Instructor, EMT, or Emergency Response Course completion.
Qualifications – Senior Lifeguard
Must be 17 years old.
1‑season experience as lifeguard or swim instructor.
Leadership experience preferred.
Current Water Safety Instructor’s certificate or equivalent teaching experience.
CPR, AED, and First Aid certification by first day of employment.
Qualifications – Substitute Preschool Site Supervisor
Have 3‑4 years’ experience working with children ages 2‑5.
AA Degree required or, alternatively, a minimum of 60 units including 24 ECE/CD, 16 GE, 6 admin, 2 adult supervision, and a California Driver’s License.
California State licensed Site Supervisor Permit desirable.
Qualifications – Teen Leader
Must be at least 18 years old.
Available for 4‑8 hour shifts Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
Valid California Driver’s License desirable.
CPR/First Aid certification on first day of employment (training provided).
Qualifications – Tennis Instructor
Knowledge of basic tennis game play and rules.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Available for up to 7‑8 hour shifts Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM, and weekends.
Qualifications – Tot Time Substitute Teacher
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid California Driver’s License desirable.
Prior experience in early childhood education or recreation required.
12 ECE/ED units desired.
Qualifications – Safe Parking Attendant
Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience with the unhoused population or outreach to diverse populations desirable.
Hours range from 4‑33 hours per week; shift options: full (8:00 PM‑7:00 AM) or half (8:00 PM‑12:00 AM).
First Aid certification desired.
